Community Elections - Sunday 10th October 2021

Your current committee has served for nearly two years, and it is time for our church to elect a new committee. The committee memebers meet in person or online approximately once a month If you have a passion for the church of Apostolos Andreas, and wish to be more involved, do consider putting your name forward to take part in the forthcoming elections. You will find the list for nominations in church. Please be reminded that, to both be able to vote, and to be nominated, you must be up to date with your Annual Church Membership Subscription and be an Orthodox in good standing; forms are available in church. It is both an honour and blessing to serve on the committee, please do not hesitate to get in touch for more information or a chat about it.

Please email us or fill the relevant form at our church if you want to be a candidate for the elections. Deadline is at 20th of September.

The Orthodox Church of St Andrew is located at:
Chapel of Englefield Green Cemetery, St Jude's Road, Englefield Green
Surrey, TW20 0BZ

All our services are on a first come, first served basis and we ask that you continue to support us to keep to the guidelines, by moving away from the area when we have reached our capacity.  Both the doors and windows will remain open throughout for ventilation purposes - it may be cold in church!

So briefly once again, please be reminded:

·         Do not come to church if you, or anyone in your family, is unwell with Covid-19 symptoms or you have been told to isolate.

·         Park mindfully away from the church and do not block any of the paths.

·         Always respect each other’s space and observe social distancing.

·         Wear your mask before you enter the church and please make sure it always covers both your nose and mouth and it does not have a valve.

·         Sanitise your hands before you enter the church and when you leave.

·         Help us to comply with the NHS Test and Trace regulations by leaving your contact details: name and telephone number, even if you only come to light a candle.

We look forward to seeing you and we thank you for your understanding and patience, during these difficult times.  Please  help us to adhere to the regulations so we can provide a safe place of worship for all and keep each other, our families and friends safe.

Please do reach out to us if we can be of any help and we will try our best to help.

Please, read the updated COVID-19 guidelines below.
